Ministerial visit "a complete success"

LIQUI MOLY accompanies Minister-President Kretschmann from Germany to Argentina and Brazil

November 2011 – "A complete success" was how Matthias Bleicher, Export Manager of LIQUI MOLY, described the journey of Minister-President of Baden-Württemberg Winfried Kretschmann from Germany to Argentina and Brazil. He was a member of the delegation.

Germany is made up of 16 federal states, of which Baden-Württemberg is the third largest. The motor oil and additive manufacturer LIQUI MOLY is based there. The objective of the trip of the Minister President was to intensify mutual relations. One area of focus was the subject of mobility. LIQUI MOLY, which has already been represented in Latin America for decades, was able to add its competence in the balance here.

"High-quality motor oils reduce fuel consumption and extend the service life", said Matthias Bleicher. "That not only saves money, it also saves the environment." Additives are also especially helpful in protecting the engine against sedimentation related to problematic fuel quality. "Less sedimentation means reduced fuel consumption and less engine damage", according to Bleicher. "Because we produce exclusively in Germany, we provide drivers in Latin America with precisely the same quality offered to drivers in Germany."

Many new contacts were made during the ministerial visit. The focus of LIQUI MOLY is on the automotive sector. However, the principle of reducing operating costs and increasing operational safety with high-quality oils and additives can also be applied to other sectors. Thus, in Argentina talks are now taking place involving the use of LIQUI MOLY in mining. LIQUI MOLY has already proved very successful in South African mines.

In Brazil, the second country on the route of the ministerial visit, LIQUI MOLY is about to be introduced to the market. Here too there were discussions with wholesalers concerning the expansion of the distribution network. "Brazil is the largest blank area on our map", Bleicher said. "We can hardly wait to start in 2012 with the newly founded LIQUI MOLY do Brasil Lda."
