Franz Engstler and his team-mate Andrei Romanov secured four podium places for the racing team from Allgäu, Germany.
The eighth and ninth races of the ADAC Pro Car Series were battled out over the weekend at EuroSpeedway Lausitz. Franz Engstler already had a lead of 0.2 seconds in qualifying, putting the Liqui Moly BMW in pole position.
Andrei Romanov started from fifth position. From the first, he made the most of the excellent traction of his rear-wheel drive Liqui Moly BMW and was third into the first corner.
Franz Engstler won the start and spent a whole lap tussling with brand-mate Vladimir Labazov, the reigning Russian champion.
“Once again, my boys produced the perfect setup with our KW chassis. I was able to keep attacking throughout the race and completed all 12 laps on the same tyres,” says Franz Engstler.
The finish saw two Liqui Moly drivers on the podium: the winner Franz Engstler and Andrei Romanov in third place.
