LIQUI MOLY extends its range by another high-tech motor oil. The low-friction oil with the designation TOP TEC 4200 fulfils the latest VW 504.00 specification for gasoline engines and the 507.00 specification for diesel engines.
The long-life motor oil thus conforms to the latest and sharpest requirements of the emissions standard 'Euro 4'.
With the exception of R5 TDI engines (Touareg and Transporter) and V10 TDI (Touareg and Phaeton) as well as the 3 and 4 cylinder pumped-jet engines without extended maintenance intervals (WIV), the new oil can be used in all VW vehicles with WIV. Likewise, use is guaranteed in diesel vehicles with soot particulate filters. TOP TEC 4200 is based on 'synthetic hydrocrack technology'.
Due to the new additive technology, the oil is backwards compatible. This means that it can also be used in all older VW vehicles without extended maintenance intervals with the exception of the above-mentioned vehicles.
