LIQUI MOLY launches three new high performance motor oils

Ulm, January 22, 2010 – New motor generation – new motor oil. The variety of lubricants constantly raises due to increasing motor oil requirements – in new car models the motor oil is a component exactly adapted to the engine. Nearly every car manufacturer in Germany has its own specifications and demands more and more complex formulas. But meanwhile also non-German manufacturers are developing individual approvals. Given this multiplicity it is hard to know what to do. Here help is coming from the oil guide on the LIQUI MOLY website at www.liqui-moly.de. The oil guide helps the user to identify the correct his car needs. He may print the results and keep them in the car to be used at the next oil change.

The German motor oil expert LIQUI MOLY launched three new motor oils at the beginning of the year. “TOP TEC 4600 5W-30” and “Leichtlauf Special F 5W-30” are new motor oils for diesel and gas models from Ford and Opel since 2009 (year of manufacture). They are both fully backward compatible and suited for cars with soot particular filter. Also newly launched was “Leichtlauf High Tech 5W-40”. This motor oil is based on state of the art HC-synthesis technology and fulfills among others the specifications MB 229.5 and Porsche A40. In particular motors from AMG demand oil having this viscosity and specification.

Together with the already offered oil grades “Super Leichtlauf 10W-40” and “TOP TEC 4200 5W-30” these five oils cover a wide range. For example in Germany, they fit for 95% of all cars. That is especially relevant for workshops: they do no longer need to keep in stock a large number of different oil grades. Beside this standard equipment LIQUI MOLY offers dozens of motor oils with different performances in different price segments.
